BITĖS “looking glass” paslauga – tai galimybė interneto paslaugų vartotojams matyti interneto tinklo adresų pasiekiamumo parametrus.
bgp - ši komanda parodo, kokiais galimais maršrutais pagal interneto maršrutizavimo protokolo BGP (angl. Border Gateway Protocol) lentelę gali būti pasiekiamas nurodytas IP adresas iš BITĖS interneto tinklo.
traceroute - ši komanda parodo, kokiu maršrutu internete pasiekiamas nurodytas IP adresas iš BITĖS interneto tinklo, taip pat duomenų paketų vėlinimą RTD (angl. Round Trip Delay) iki kiekvieno šiame maršrute esančio maršrutizuojančio įrenginio.
ping - ši komanda parodo duomenų paketų vėlinimą RTD (angl. Round Trip Delay) tarp nurodyto IP adreso ir BITĖS interneto tinklo.
Visi pateikiami rezultatai yra matuojami BITĖS interneto tinklo maršrutizatoriumi, esančiu Vilniuje.

Traceroute is a program that shows you the route over the network between two systems, listing all the intermediate routers a connection must pass through to get to its destination. It can help you determine why your connections to a given server might be poor, and can often help you figure out where exactly the problem is. It also shows you how systems are connected to each other, letting you see how your ISP connects to the Internet as well as how the target system is connected.
